Flash point (open cup) 280℃. Soluble in alkanes and most organic solvents, slightly soluble in water. Compatible with polyvinyl chloride, chlorinated rubber and nitrile rubber. Low volatility, low mobility, excellent heat resistance, light resistance, and weather resistance. Non-toxic. biodegradable.

Epoxidized soybean oil application

Used as a plasticizer for epoxy resin, PVC, neoprene, nitrile rubber, etc. But pure epoxy soybean oil and epoxy resin are not compatible with each other. It can be formed by ring-opening polymerization of epoxy soybean oil, or reaction with maleic anhydride, or double bond crosslinking initiated by dicumyl peroxide. Polymer, the compatibility with epoxy resin is significantly improved.

(1) Non-toxic

Meet the requirements of the US FDA Food Additives Rules "181.27 and 175.300". It has also been approved by the Japanese JHPA (PVC Food Sanitation Association) PL specification [B.7(1)] (approval number J-7059). Especially suitable for food packaging or medical materials.

(2) Low volatility, resistance to extraction and migration resistance

B-22 and B-22D have a molecular weight of about 1000 as plasticizers for PVC, their volatility is 1/5 of DOP, and their solvent resistance is far better than DOP. In addition, B-22 and B-22D have low iodine value, so they have excellent migration resistance.

(3) Excellent weather resistance and heat resistance

B-22 is used with metal stabilizers in PVC products, and has synergistic effect (Synergitism), which greatly improves the weather resistance, heat resistance, and transparency of PVC resin, while reducing the amount of metal stabilizers and reducing costs.

With the increasing awareness of environmental protection today, B-22 and Ca-Zn stabilizers are non-polluted and non-toxic formulas that can replace Cd-Ba-Zn or lead stabilizers. In the flame-retardant formula, adding B-22 will greatly improve the stability.
